Scoring entries as a judge

Entries assigned to you appear under "To Judge" on your main menu, while judging is open for that category. Open an entry to see its questions/media and the judging criteria you're scoring it against, enter a score for each criterion, and write your comments.

Your comments are checked automatically for quality before they save: generic or placeholder comments (e.g. "good entry", copy-pasted text) get rejected and you're asked to be more specific about what you actually saw in that entry. Your scores still save even if a comment gets rejected; you'll just need to revise the comment and resubmit. If judging closes before you finish an entry, check "Comments to Revise" on your main menu. That stays available even after judging closes so you can still improve comments already submitted.

A comment can also land in "Comments to Revise" because an admin reviewed it and asked for more detail, not just the automatic check; either way, the page works the same: your score is untouched and only the comment itself is editable.

If your program uses on-site (mobile) scoring for some categories, that's a separate offline-capable mode reached from "On-site Scoring" on your main menu, for the categories you're allocated to on-site.
